What’s Next For The 3Ms of The Now Defunct PPBM?

Now to the relief of Tun Mahathir that his now defunct Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (PPBM) has been dergistered; what is he and the the other two making up the Three (3) going to do?

Well no doubt the first that that has taken place was a sigh of relief; because now the can stop the pretence of having Malaysians believe that they are actually a party that can win a substansial number of seat in the 14th general election.

In The Corridores of Power blogger Raja Petra Kamarudin (RPK) writes

Why Was PPBM Deregistered?

Did PPBM sabotage itself on purpose to force the RoS to deregister the party so that Mahathir and PPBM can save face and not have to explain why they cannot win 70-80 parliament seats, which is what should happen if PPBM is supposed to be the backbone of Pakatan Harapan, PPBM’s Chairman is supposed to be Pakatan Harapan’s ‘Calun PM’, and PPBM is supposed to be the mirror-image or duplicate of Umno and the replacement to Umno?

PPBM was a walking dead political party from the start.

PPBM’s deregistration also means that they will not have to stand alone when they are thourghly defeated at the polls.

Which by they way Tun Mahathir knows will happen.

He (Tun Mahathir) got glimpses of his political fate when:

  • Malaysians didn’t buy into RM Billions vanishing into thin air only to reappear.
  • The supposedly million plus signatures were as bogus as his son Mukhriz being prime minister material.
  • He could not get the Malay crowd to turn out for any of his so called events.
  • His apology tour was met with yawns by the public.
  • There was no buzz when he became Pakatan Harapan’s designated selection for prime minister.

This is where things become interesting; Tun Mahathir believed that his son Mukhriz and Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin could ride his coattail to victory. Now they are riding his (Tun Mahathir’s) coattail to defeat.

The Registra of Societies just made the 3Ms defeat a little more easier for them (3M’s) to digest as they will not be singled out as having failed as a political party. They will now be able to spread the blame among their Pakatan Harapan cohorts.

So what’s next for the 3Ms of the now defunct PPBM?

Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin can continue activities in the lotus garden.

Mukhriz will come to realize that the apple sometimes falls far from the tree.

And Tun Mahathir can pursue retirement knowing that Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak gave him a Master’s class in the Art of War of Politics!

PPBM; A Political Party Never Meant to be Born!

With all the news about PPBM being registered in time, it seems more and more that PPBM is a political party that was conceived, but never meant to be born.

In an article in Malay Mail Tun Mahathir tries to slip in the idea that his Parti Prebumi Bersatu Malaysia (PPBM) would have their candidates campaign under the DAP banner, if his party is deregistered.

While this was said in the guise of quip/joke, it is well believed that this action had been part of his plan all along.

In actuality, Tun Mahatir would have preferred for his party to have been denied when the paper work was first filed.

Had the Registra of Societies denied Tun Mahathir’s party their registration, he (Mahathir) could have played the victim or martyr card to try and elicit the rakyat’s sympathy. In addition, he would not have had to waste time going through the motions of trying to pretend to be a legitimate political party.

In trying to pass it self off as a legitimate party, serious short coming were exposed; namely that the PPBM is only about the wants of the 3M (Mahathir, Mukhriz, Muhyiddin) inner circle. The only purpose which the other members that are still in their party serve is to prop them (3M) up.

Had Tun Mahathir had the chance to play victim and cry crocodile tears earlier on, he would have had more time to better implant himself and especially his son (Mukhriz) in DAP.

Since that was not the case, Tun Mahathir and their top echelon had to scramble and pretend to be an actual political, but just stopping at doing what is required to become a fully registered party.

They (PPBM leadership) knew the requirements which needed to be fulfilled for registration; and even if they had all suffered from collective amnesia, their lawyers certainly were knowledgeable of the procedure.

Now that their is the possibility that PPBM will be deregistered, Tun Mahathir can breath a sign of relief as he knows that his political party would be thrashed in the upcoming G14 election.

If one of Tun Mahathir’s wishes comes true, he and his selected inner circle will be able to campaign under Lim Kit Siang’s DAP banner. In this way, his loss will be seen as the DAP’s which is far better than having a PPBM loss seen as a vote against him!

PPBM Whipper Snapper Wants to Have a ‘Nothing-More-We-Can-Do’ Forum!

Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman

For those unfamiliar with the term ‘Whipper Snapper: A whipper snapper is a young and inexperienced person considered to be presumptuous or overconfident.

That definition pretty much sums up Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (PPBM) youth chief Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman.

The impetuous young man at a press conference said that his wing plans to organize a so called Nothing2Hide forum with Tun Mahathir and Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak.

In reality the Nothing2Hide forum is really hiding the real agenda which is trying to debate with Prime Minister Najib Razak.

At least Lim Kit Siang (although out of place) came out and said that he wanted to debate the Prime Minister.  Lim Kit Siang wanting to debate the Prime Minister led to Communications and Multimedia Minister Datuk Seri Dr Salleh Keruak’s rebuke by saying that Lim Kit Siang is not on the same level to debate Prime Minister Najib Razak.

Now we have PPBM youth chief thinking that he can accomplish what the old warhorse Lim Kit Siang could not do; get Prime Minister Najib Razak to succumb the opposition’s request.

It has yet to sink into Tun Mahathir and DAP-led Pakatan’s psyche that it is not incumbent for Prime Minister Najib Razak to show up at any debate masked as a forum or any other event which DAP-led Pakatan organizes.

Prime Minister Najib’s continuing success’ both in Malaysia and abroad are his testament to the nation; that is value to the nation not a falsely named forum planned by a party in search of political relevance.

Therefore, Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (PPBM) youth chief Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman should just call the forum ‘NothingMoreWeCanDo’.

Just call it that and give the allotted time to Tun Mahathir to preach to the DAP-led Pakatan Harapan choir.

The PPBM camp is starting to give the impression that they are a dying animal gasping in an attempt to hold on to political significance as the 14th general election powers toward them.

That is why Tun Mahathir has been promoting himself to serve as DAP-led Pakatan’s Prime Minister designate and having PPMB to do the same; he knows it’s now or never.

Now you have the PPBM youth wing believing that they can somehow challenge Prime Minister to stop the positive momentum he is building for Malaysia just to attend a PPBM event; an event the youth wing chief says they will hold even if the Prime Minister does not attend.

If that is the case; why stop there.

PPBM’s youth wing should organize a ‘NothingMoreWeCanDo’ forum every week until the 14th general election; after all, DAP-led Pakatan has tried everything else so right now there is ‘Nothing-More-They-Can-Do’!

PPBM (Tun Mahathir) has Politically Carjacked Pakatan Harapan!

It seems that Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia is attempting the political version of carjacking DAP-led Pakatan Harapan.

When Lim Kit Siang’s DAP-led opposition opened their political vehicle door to let Tun Mahathir and PPBM in, they had no idea that they were opening up to a carjacking.

As we are now seeing, not only has Tun Mahathir slithered from the back seat to the front, but he is now seen as having wrestled the steering wheel away.

Then you have Tun Mahathir stating that if the DAP-led opposition asked, he would be open to becoming the Prime Minister nominee.

It was when Tun Mahathir made that very curious statement (above) that he had effectively carjacked Pakatan Harapan.

What makes things even more curious is:

‘The Silence of the Lims’

Neither father (Lim Kit Siang) nor embattled son (Lim Guan Eng) has said anything to suggest that Tun Mahathir was overstepping his new kit on the block status.

Could you imagine the chastisement Amanah’s Mat Sabu would have received had he said he would be the go to guy.  Lim Kit Siang would have told him to go sit in the corner and write 4,000 times; ‘I will not speak unless told to do so’.

But here is the new (Tun Mahathir) arrival saying: Dump the idea of Anwar Ibrahim ever becoming Prime Minister the same way I will unequivocally dumped Muhyiddin Yassin at the right time; for now, I want to be PM lagi!

One has to wonder why the elder Lim has not rebuffed the idea of Tun Mahathir returning to Putrajaya.  After all didn’t Lim Kit Siang also hold up ‘Anwar PM KE-7 placard?

LKS and Anwar placard

If he is supposedly behind Anwar Ibrahim, Lim Kit Siang should have jumped in front of the media and proclaimed that Tun Mahathir was out of place with his remarks.

Perhaps the speculation about a secret deal of sorts is more than just mere speculation.  Maybe Lim Kit Siang holding up the ‘Anwar PM KE-7 placard was just part of an elaborate play in which he was acting out his part in it.

On one hand Kit Siang may believe that he can score some points with Malays by holding up the placard and the other hand he may be trying to give the impression that he is not part of any secret pact with Tun Mahathir.

But then Mahathir is still in the process of politically carjacking Pakatan Harapan and Lim Kit Siang has not put the new kid (Tun Mahathir) in his place.

So could the new realigned pact look something like the following;

Tun Mahathir comes in as temporary Prime Minister

Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin as deputy Prime Minister.

Mukhriz Mahathir as Education Minister or another post that will place him in the succession scheme

Lim Kit Siang as Finance Minister

Then a short period Tun Mahathir steps down elevating Muhyiddin Yassin as Prime Minister and appoints Mukhriz Mahathir as deputy Prime.

Next Muhyiddin Yassin will step down as more information of his picking Chinese tea leaves come to light moving Mukhriz up to Prime Minister and his appointing Lim Kit Siang as deputy Prime Minister while retaining the Finance Minister post.

All which would mean the ‘secret pact’ would still come into play albeit a few more steps.

Therefore the PPBM strategist saying that Tun Mahathir should be PM candidate

gives some validity to the idea that PPBM (Tun Mahathir) has politically carjacked Pakatan Harapan and the coalition may be dumped at the first opportune time!

Born From Hate; 2017 May Bring The End Of Mahathir’s PPBM!

images (1)

As the Gregorian calendar flipped from the 2016 over to 2017 there were celebrations marked by fireworks and partying in one form or another.   However while many celebrate new beginnings, 2017 may be the end to PPBM a party that was born out of hate and bitterness.  Yes, this hate and bitterness was from its founder Tun Mahathir; a man who could not have things his own way so he attempted to sink the very ship that has comfortably sailed on over the years.

They say that there is a thin line between love and hate.  Mahathir venomous rage against Prime Minister Datuk Sri Najib Razak proved that the line is thinner than many could imagine.  Tun Mahathir tried his level best to undermine and hamper any good Najib was doing.  As far as Tun Mahathir was concerned, even Najib’s good was seen as corrupt.

All of this hate and bitterness was because the Prime Minister Najib Razak refused to listen to Mahathir, refused to straighten out the snag in with the crooked bridge and did not help position his son Mukhriz to have an easy path to become Prime Minister around 2021.

In the face of all of those negative results, Mahathir was like a man in need of love after his wife’s rejection.  But instead of looking at what he was doing wrong, he like some do; looked for love in all the wrong places.

Mahathir was so distraught he was like a drunk man who crawls into bed with someone (Lim Kit Siang) that had Mahathir been of sound mind, he would never had ventured to see.

After a few unsuccessful dates (Sarawak, Sungai Besar, Kuala Kangsar) with DAP led Pakatan, Mahathir thought he would attempt to start his own political party.  But many wonder if initially Mahathir really wanted to start the party.  There are those who are of mind that Mahathir hoped that government would cause problems with his (Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia) party’s registration that he could claim special victim status.

Unfortunately for Mahathir, Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia’s (PPBM) registration went through without a glitch.  The left Tun Mahathir without a victim’s card to play and even worse, he now had a party that like Pakatan Harapan, had no clear objective.

That is why if one were to reflect over the period after PPBM’s formation, there was nothing of any substance taking place other than the not so big surprise of naming former deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin as president and former Kedah Menteri Besar/Mahathir’s seed Mukhriz as vice president; which was the line up Mahathir had in mind even when he was asked who his choices were for both deputy and Prime Minister.  As you recall, Mahathir went mum and did not respond.

But all has not been clear sailing for Mahathir’s (Pribumi) political party.  In looking back over its brief history, we have seen a couple of significant events that are still rocking PPBM’s top echelon.  The first is Primbumi’s president is being accused of spending more than casual time with another man’s wife.   The second has the former women’s wing chief sexting; so much for 2016.

So while many around Malaysia partied and looked forward to the New Year; 2017 may bring about the end of the party born out of Tun Mahathir’s hate and bitterness!
